What you will need

Once you’ve got everything all you need to do is follow these 6 easy steps and you will have a warm cozy atmosphere that you can enjoy with family & friends.

Step 1 Setting up your Chiminea

The first thing you’ll want to start with is the assembly of Chiminea.

Assembly is usually fairly straightforward. More often it will come with assembly instructions to help you put it together.

Once you’ve got it assembled you’re going to want to find a nice level place, preferably away from any overhanging trees and branches. And anything else that could be a potential fire hazard or be damaged by heat.

Now Is this your first time…

If this is your first time you’re using you Chiminea and its metal like cast-iron you can head on over to step 2. If however its made out of clay then you’ll want to read this first.

Step 2 Load It

Using Seasoned Wooden Logs

Loosely crumple up a couple of pieces of newspaper and then place them inside your chiminea on top of the fire log grate & then pile on some of the kindling on top of the newspaper.

Using Fuel Logs

The simplest way to get a fire started, Place the Fuel logs inside the chimenea on the fire log grate.

Step 3 Fire It Up

Remove the lid of the chimenea & light the newspaper or fuel log, with the lighter or matches. Close the chiminea door (if your outdoor Chiminea has one) Always remember to use the heat resistant gloves.

Step 4 Turn up the Heat

Using Seasoned Wooden Logs

Once the fire has taken, add some seasoned logs always using the heat resistant gloves.

Step 5 Keep the Fires Burning

Throughout the evening add an additional log or chiminea fuel log to maintain the fire always using the heat resistant gloves.
